Report - Corporate social responsibility and safety and health at work

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been defined by the European Commission as the integrtion by companies of social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis. In 2001, the European Commission launched a European debate with the publication of the Green Paper on ‘Promoting a European framework for corporate social responsibility’.
